Marriage with a Docoasod Wifo's Sister.
London, April 17.—Tho Bishop of Oxford defends Bishop Barry, Primoto of Sydnoy, in his efforts to discourage marriago with a deceased wife's sister. Now Bishop of Brisbane. London, April 16.—The Rev. William Webber, tho newly-appointed Bishop of Brisbane, will be consecrated at St. Paul's on May 26th. Bank of South Australia. At a meeting of the shareholders of the Bank of South Australia, a motion was passed approving of the proposal to transfor fifty thousand pounds from the reserve fund to meet all possible loss. State of the British Navy. A large meeting is to be held in London to lake into consideration the condition of the British navy.
