We notice by advertisement in another column that an organ recital and service of song will be given at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, Homuera, on Friday evening, 30th November, whan an attractive programme will be gone through. Business of a very important character will be introduced at tho annual meeting of St. James's Association this evening, and as tho future cxistenco of tho society is concerned, a full attendance of membors is desirable. A meeting of citizens will be held at three o'clock to-morrow, in tho Chamber of Commerce, for tho purpose of considering the public services of the Mayor (J. M. Clark, Esq.), and taking steps towards a suitable recognition of the same. Miss Cannoll's grand concert will bo given in the Parnoll Hall on Wednesday evening next. The programme is specially interesting, consisting of two parts of very choice songs, pianoforte duets, and solos; and two recitations, "The Progress of Madness," and "The One Legged Goose.' Among the lady voealißts we notice the names of Misses Gribble, Stounton, Wulmslcy, and Cannoll. A number of gentlemen of musical talent will also assist.
