February, 1884. The programme will beFirst day : Flying Stakes, ;'_ mile, GOsovs. ; Hurdle Handicap, 2}t miles, OOsovs, ; Wellington Cup, 2 miles, 400sovs. ; Stewards' Handicap, l.j mile, 150sovs. Second day : Railway Stakes, IJ mile, fiOsovs. ; Hutt Park Stakes, \]_ mile, 120sovs. ; Wellington Racing Club Handicap, 1 j mile, 200sovs.; Consolation, 1 mile, 40sovs.
By the s.s. Wairarapa today, the three-year-old colt Snider, by Musket—Maid of Athol, and Lone Hand were shipped for Napier to fulfil their engagements at the Hawke's Bay Jockey Club Spring Meeting. Snider is engaged in the Guineas, and Lone Hand in the principal Handicap and Hurdles. Messrs T. Clark and W. Kraft were in charge of the pair.
