Convalescent.—Edward Mann, who was oooßldored a lunatic has recovered, and confessed that his lunnoy was the result of eontinnous drinking. As he had Buffered oouiderably and been confined some time, he was dlnnharged With a caution, Tom, the Bpbhman.- Thomas Barry was called In answer to a charge of having no visible lawful means o( a Uvohood, but did not appear.-Mr Pardy Informed tho Conrt that Barry, aoaordlng to promise, had none baok to HelonsvlUo. Hidb and Bbbk.-Fanny Whlteelde, who had applied (or a proteotlon order under tbe act did not appear In BUDport of the application.— Harry Wblteslde appeared to oppoja,and stated that his wife bad led htm a pretty dance, and he did not know where to find her. He was Informed that ghe was at Whasgarel, and he had been down in quest of her and tha ohlidren; he then learned that she was In Auokland ; he objected to waltzing over the country. He wished te have the custody of at least one. of his ohtldren.—His Worship eaid he would remand the ease until Tuesday, and if Mrs whiteslde did not tnrn np by that Urns, the case would be dlßmlised, This was all the business.
