CAUSE OF THE DISPUTE.
KAWAKAWA, this day.
There is nothing reliable at present. A numerous party of police arc out making enquiries. It is believed that two natives have been killed and two wounded between Tweseke and Kaikohe. The dispute was about survey lines, and Lundon's bargain re £100 paid for Totara timber ou the land recently.
