The Premier at Dunedin.

DUNEDIN, Saturday. The Liberal Association announced they had secured the Princess Theatre for Sir George Grey's meeting to-night, and the Amateur Opera < ompany's final appearance wus to take place in the same lniilding to-uight. The difficulty was got over iv favour of Sir George Grey. Sir George Grey arrived in town by the expVess train from Invercargill this afternoon. He was met in town by the members of the Liberal Association. At Milton he was introduced by Mr Brown to thn Mayor, ex-Mayor of the town, County Councillors, and other local dignitaries, who were on the platform. The Liberal movement has spread to Tapanui. Sir George Grey addressed a meeting this evening at the Princess Theatre crowded to suffocation. The platform was occupied by a large number of Sir George Grey's supporters, and especially by Messrs C. S.Reeves,andT.Bracken(Grey candidates), and Mr Stout. The meeting was a very orderly one. Sir George's speech contained little that has not been already said hy him at Christchurch and Palmcrston.
