Penguin, which left for Russell yesterday afternoon, will re'iirn to-morrow morniner, and sail tor Tauranga, East Coa3t, and Southern rorts on Monday afternoon. The brigantino Lapwing is opjn for freight or ° The s'.s. Glcnelg arrived this morning from Tauranga and Mercury Ray with S eanssgrafs seed, 52 pigs, snd the following passengers:— Mr and Mrs Marks, Miss McKinncy, and Messrs Buchanan. Parkc, Crocktr, Sims, MrlCay, and one in tho steerage. Tho steamer will return to the same ports on Monday alter noon.

Tho s.s. lona arrived this morning fromRussoll and Northern ports with 160 sacks Kauri Bum, 50 bags oysters, 2 cases fruit, 12 pieces timber, 3 bags fungus, and 12 baskets fish. Sho will return again on Monday evening.

The schooner Opotiki arrived this afternoon from Gisborne with 130 sacks bran, and 23 basts oatmeal. She left on the 25th, and rounded KaH Capo next day. South east and easterly weather was experienced dining the ca3sage.
