Russia Demands "Withdrawal of British Fleet.
England Refuses to Withdraw while Russian Troops Remain Hear Stamhoul.
Colonial Securities Depressed.
LONDON, March 30,
The " Standard" says Russia has addressed a note to the Forte demanding the withdrawal of the British fleet from the Sea of Marmora.
England has refused while the Russians are within the environs of Stamboul.
Orders' have been received at Portsmouth to have the troop-ships ready to embark an army corps in case of emergency.
In the late semi-panic the following stocks suffered most severely: Russian, Bulgarian, Italian, Turkish, and French, There is a semi-panic on the Foreign Bourses.
The Colonial Government debentures are heavily depressed. New Zealand 5 per cent., 104.
