CITY ASSESSMENT COURT.
(Before R. C. Barstow Esq. R. M.) Mr Wade appeared as valuator for the City Council. William Kelly made an appeal against the assessment of Ins property in Wakefield. street : he was rated at £15. which was toot much.
His Worship said he could hot entertain the objection, as it was too late but on considering the matter it was found that Mr Kelly was rated below the mark, rather than above it.
Houses in Queen-street, occupied by A.' - G. Bartlett, watchmaker, and Wm. Brown., hill, bootmaker, reduced from £350 to £270 ; Mr Bartlett, £80; Mr BrownhiU, £80 ; aud owner £190.
