MARRIAGE OF THE REV. C. M. NELSON.
There was a large concourse at Sfc. Paul's church this morning at half-past eiaht, to witness the marriage of the Rev. C. M. Nelson the incumbent, and Miss Georgiana Sophia Coates. The ceremony was performed by His Lordship Bishop Oowie assisted by the Rev. J!,. Burrows. The service was rendered chorally, the organ being presided at by Mr Beile the organist. The bride, who is the 2nd daughter of the late Mr J. Coates who held a responsible office under the Imperial Government in the early days of the colony, was given away by Mr Whitaker. The Rev. G. E,. Tomlinson, of Onehunga, officiated as best man, Misa Coates and the Misses Whitaker were the bridesmaids. Mr Whitaker lias kindly placed his beautiful villa on the shore of Takapuna at the disposal of the happy pair during their honeymoon. His Honor Sir George Grey was present at the ceremony.
