The Ship Hydaspes.

(PER PIGEON EXPRESS.)

QUARANTINE STATION.

This day, 1.10 p.m.

We this morning despatched pigeons to the Quarantine Station, one of which has returned with the following message. Our readers need not be alarmed, as we have aubjected the message to fumigation of the most diabolical kind :

All well. The process of fumigation has been completed. Mr Barnsley reports mosr favourably of everybody. The behaviou being unexceptionable All are most anxious to be released, especially the single girls, who think it a great hardship that they should bo kept apart from the boys, when this is such a fine place for flirting.

Plenty of fishing and nice little oystera. The city looks pretty in the distance All look wistfully towards it. Hope soon to be released.
