PUBLIC NOTICE ,IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with the provisions of "The Counties Act, 1920," Sections .120 to 127 and "The Rating Act, 1926," Sections 51 to 59, the Akaroa County Council intends at its next meeting to be held in the County Chambers at Duvauchelles on July 31st at 10 a.m. to make and levy the following' rates. A General rate of three-eighths of.a penny in the pound on all the rateable property in the County of Akaroa. i A Special rate of one-eighth of a penny in the pound on all the rateable property in th(; Robinson's Bay Wharf and road special rating area.
