ANNIVERSARY PRO-ALLIED RESOLUTIONS NEW YORK, May' 21 The American Rights Committee had a crowded meeting at Carnegie Hall to commemorate the sinking- of the Lusitania, the speakers including , George Haven Putnam, the literary head of the well known publishinghouse of G. P. Putnam and Sons. The meeting- summoned America to join the Allies whose fight was America's and passed a resolution stating the time had come to support the Allies and to fight for democracy and civilisation.
