DUVAUCHELLE MONTHLY STOOK SALE.

The monthly stock ealo was held at Dnvauchelle »n Friday last, when there was another very large entry of cattle, the number penned wall exceeding 600 head There was a very large attendance on account of tho diffeien* l'ind pales and the usual buyers Fat cattle were again a feature ef the sale, well over a hundred head being offered. The sale for fat cattle opened briskly at an advance on last month's prioes, taking into consideration tbr quality of the stock yarded. The majority of the cattle offered in the fat pens were in prine condition, but as is the tendanoy of late.the cattle were finished off at younger ages. Tbe record sale was that obtaioe by Messrs Pyne and Co., who sold two very prime bullocks on bhalf of Mr E Coe, Goush's Bay, per Mr P A Westenra, for £17 17. Cd.
