TORPEDOEING OF SUSSEX NOT ADMITTED.
Germany's answer to the) United States is that the Sussex was not attacked, but another vessel in the neighbourhood was torpedoed. Germany admits the Englishman, the Englepoint, Berwindall and Manchester Engineer were torpedoed, but this action was legal and in accordance with rules of war.
