LE BON'S BAY NEWS.
The first meeting of the newly appointed Domain Board ' was held in the Public Hall on April 6th, present all members, viz., Messrs J. P. Petterson, F. C. Aldridge, A. F. Leonardo. S. W. Crotty, and W. G. Dalglish.
Moved by S. W. Crotty and seconded by J. P. Petterson that W. G. Dalglish be chairman of the Board.
The chairman explained to the meeting the Boards' financial positon, and stated that the money invested with the Bank of New Zealand, Akaroa, would require reinvesting after September next. The meeting decided to reinvest the amount' with either the Bank of New Zealand or the Savings Bank.
Moved by S. W. Crotty and seconded by A. F. Leonardo that the chairman interview Mr Symes in connection with the dividing fence. Carried.
After arranging that the calling of the next meeting be left in the hands of the chairman, the meeting adjourned..
