GERMANS LOSE CONFIDENCE
A semi official, message states that the latest fighting in Verdun , region showed that the enemy's ardqur is daily waning. Their confidence in victory is irtg increasingly shaken and it is now forseen that the successive attacks will gradually ease off, because the en-emy sees he is destined to be broken &g<dn,st the fortress.
