MRS. ARTHUR WRIGHT.
Much sympathy was felt in Little River on Tuesday, when it was 'known that Mrs Arthur Wright, wife of Messrs Pyne and Co's representative in the district had died after a short illness the previous evening. The late Mrs Wright had a particularly bright disposition and took part in many local entertainments with her husband. She leaves a young family of three sons and a baby girl a few days old.
The funeral took place on Wednesday, when a very large number of residents paid their respects. The firm of Pyne and Co., of Christchurch was represented by Mr H. Kimber. The Rev. E. K. Mules conducted the burial service at St, Andrew's cemetery and gave a very impressive address at the graveside.
