LITTLE RIVER UOURT.
THURSDAY, MARCH 9
Before T. A, B. Bailey, S.M.
A short sitting of the Little River Court was heard yesterday; but as the time available was only three-quarters of an hour, one case was only partially heard and adjourned to April. 11th.
The case referred to was Alec McDonald (Wainui) v. Walker, a claim of £25 deposit on sale of native land. Mi- 3. Williams appeared for plain till' and Mr F. K. Hunt for defendant.
A considerable amount ol evidence was given by Messrs A. McDonald, T. K. Taylor and Mrs Walker. A great deal of legal argument arose in regard to transactions in native land; but the case had to be adjourned to April 11.
