On Thursday last a cricket match was played on tbe Awa Iti Domain between teams representing Little River and Duvftuohelle Clubs. Un-
fortunately, some of the Duvauchelle men met with a mishap on the road, and so did not arrive until 12 o'clock, Lunobeon was provided by the Little River men, and was partaken of in tbe Library social room. Play began about 1 p.m., the Little River men securing first innings, and scored 5-1 runs. Mr E. Samuels got top score, makiDg 28 ruas. R Mason and J Giddens, bowling throughout, showed some fine form. The Duvau-* cbelle innings realised 157 runs. Mr J Tini topping the score, retiring at 50. The game was altogether a most en joyable one, the weather being perfect. It is hoped tbat a return match will be played before the end of the season.
