The Premier, Sir A. J. Peacock admits he has become converted to conscription as it is evident the voluntary system is insufficient to put required number of men in the field. HELPING THE GERMANS. ■ SYDNEY, March 2
Mr Justice Haydon in dealing with the wages cases in which men handling fuel in connection with produce of munitions had struck, .said that the men had practically caught Australia by the sword arm and had hung to it and thereby helped the GerKians.
