The Little River Tennis Club played their return match with the Star Club on the Star courts on Haturday, resulting in a win for the Star by 49 games. Following are the scores, Star playera being mentioned first in each case :—
Ladies' Singles—Miss Fahey lost to Miss Reynolds 5—6 ; Mrs Radford beat Miss Wright 6—l ; Mrs Tozer beat Miss Newton 6—o; Mrs Paul beat Miss Dawber 6—4.
Men'e Singles—G White lost to G G Reed 3—6; L Giddens beat H Reed 6—3 ; E White beat — French 6—4; A Radford beat M Barclay 6—4 ; Breitmeyer beat Columbus 6-3 ; 8 Giddens beat Newton 6—o ; L Fahey beat H Wright 6—4. Ladies Doubles—Miss Fahey and Mrs Radford beat Misses Reynolds and Wright 6—2 ; Mrs Paul and Mrs Tozer beat Misses Dawber and Newton 6—4.
Men's Doubles—White and Giddens lost to H ana G Reed 3 -6 , E White and Radford beat French and Barclay 6—3 , Breifcmeyer and S. Giddens beat Newton and Columbus 6—2.
Combined Double'B—Miss Fahey and White beat Miss Reynolds and Reed 6—2; Mrs Tozer and E White beat Misses Newton and French 6—3; Mrs Paul and Radford beat Mißse.-> Dawber and Colombug 6—2 ; Mr Radford and Guldens beat Mis Wright ana H. Reed 6-2.
