■The annual statutory meeting of tbe :> Little River Doraawa Board was . held, the Wairewa County Chambers, Little River, oa Tuesday last. Present—Meaera W. Is. Montgomery (obairman), Jos. Mr Chapman reported that the old whale tripods from Oarsbaw and lloag Bay whaling stations bad been placed on the Domain, and that Messrs J McQueen and Streeter gave assistance in carting them from Oarsbaw. The pofc from Ikeraki had been kindly carted to the Domain.
It was deoided to plaoe the pots on each side of the main entrance to the
/ Awa Id Domain, and it was decided chat the thanks of tho Board be ten- ,- dered to Meesrs Streeter and Mo Queen for procuring the pota. The hon secretary, Mr T. Queaiy, reported that tbt balance sheet was duly auditdd. ANNUAL REPORT AND BALANCE SHEET. The annual report stated that some tree planting. hadTaeen carried out on the Morioe Domain and a tennis ooart laid down. A septic tank and eani« tary arraogements had been made on the Awn Iti Domain, water bad been laid on and a flag pole erected The receipts amounted to £293 12s 4d, this amount being received in the
form of rente £86 16a, grazing £55 Oa 6d, donation from Tennis Club £5 and last year's credit balanoe forward £146 159 10d. Thn annual expenii ture wa3 £281 Us 7drand the credit balance carried forward £61 17s 9d. Oα the motion of Mr Chapman, seconded by Mr Johnson, the balance sheet as'read was adopted. It was'resolved that the Morice Domain's front gate be painted, end the words "pubtio domain" painted thereon. It was also decided to renew the by laws on both domain gates.. Accounts amounting to £7 18a were paased for payment.
