Chicago reports that<"as a sequel to a recpnt banquet to visiting a Roman Catholic bishop, three hundred guests suffered through eating poisoned soup. The police olaim to have discovored'a plot to destroy the ohnroh and buildings of clergy and laity in twelve cities of the United States.
The seiaed correspondence of-John AHe crini and Juan Croanes, wo members of tbe alleged committee .of fifteen heading the plot, include! descriptions of bombs to wreck buildings and kill church goers. Pans to destroy oburohee pointed to forty Chicago churohps wbere fires have occured within the last few years, end to tbe reaent attempt to blow op to ths State Peniten tiary. '
