A CORRECTION.

The Editor.

Sir, —I wish to correct'an error in your next issue that appeared in your last Mail, February 15th. I did not say at the Road Board meeting that the dray was filled too full for the horse as was reported as I was away at the time of the accident getting water for the crusher and did not see the dray at all. What I said was if the dray was over loaded they should have hooked the leader on as he was tied up'there ready.

W. SHADBOLT, Foreman to the Akaroa and Wainui

Road Board.
