In reply to yours dated 3rd inst, 1 have put on order the large, silken French Flag, whiob will take a little time to make, but I hope will be in plenty of time to exhibit before the day. I leave it entirely to your Committee to do the beet tbey can, as I am confident tbat energy and perserverance will work wonders.
I am mailing you to-day, 1,000 cardboard badg&s; which you can sell. You- will also receive 25 Committee badges and 50 Exemption badges. These are being sent to you free. Tbe 200 small flags you ask for will probably be mailed- to you to-to-morrow."
