A! meeting of the Committee, was held yesterday Present Messrs Oodds (in the chair), Leete. T Penlington and Rev A H Julius, Mr B W Henning sent an epology for hie absence The Chairman said thai: the Education Board wrote asking if Miss Wilkinson could be transferred to Cheviot and Miss Eerr take her place in Akaroa Mr Leete moved the committee approve of the exchange Seconded by Mr Penlington and oarried An account of L J Vanjioui of £1.4s was passed for payment The chairman reported that there was a credit balanoe of £18 7* 2d in the bank after paying January accounts The chairman said the question if the annual picnic came np for disoussion in February It was resolved to abandon the idea of a picnic The headmaster reported that the school had reopened all teaohers present and said that the attendance was very satisfactory except in classes 1 and 2 He also thanked the committee for letter of appreciation of teaohers , work The meeting then terminated
