PRISONERS OF WAR
TURKISH REGULATIONS Wellington, December 23 The Governor has reoeived the following cablegram from the Secretary of State for the Colonies — "Tbe Government of Turkey has issued regulations tbat prisoners of war in Turkey can only write each week one letter of four lines, and that letters from abroad to tbem must consist of four lines They are therefore being informed tbat similar regulations operate in tbe case of Ottoman prisoners of war in the British Empire — (Signed), Bonar Law."
