A Concert organised by Miss Diamond of Chorlton school, was held on Monday, October 25th. The attendance) of local residents was not up to expectations), but the Bum of £9 12s 6d was netted after all expenses bad been paid After the concert items were finished, flowers were sold and various things were raffled and auo tioned. "Little Miss Muffets," spider bringing in £1 14s. The amount of tbs whole evenings taking was sent direct to "the Bed Cross Branch in Christchurch. Miss Diamond and her pupils went to no little trouble to make the evening a success, and the characters were well got up. The following are the items:—
