Bobough Watbb Supplt Wβ draw special attention to the notice of tho Akaroa Borough Council in our advertising columns as to the closing down of the closing down of the Alymers Valley water supply from 11 p m. on Bundey next to G a.m. on Monday morning. This has been necessitated owing to tbe shortage of water at present the reservoir is barely naif full.
Accident at Port Lev?.— A painful aooident occurred at Port Levy on Sunday last. Miss Eni'l Wilson, daughter of Mr and Mrs L M Wilstn, while cut riding was thrown from her pony owing to the animal shying. The little girl fell heavily and badly injured her elbow. She was conveyed to Lyttelton by the motor boat Stanley and taken to Dootor Anderson, Cbrietchuroh. Fortunately no bnnes were broken and the little girl ia now doing as well as oan be expeoted.
Childrens' Bazaar at Robinbon's Bay — The children of Kobioeon'a Bay who have beet, working for sometime every Saturday afternoon for the Red Cross Fund making garments and other articles suitable for Christman gifts will hold a bazaar in Mrs D Tizzard'd garden, Robinson's Bay on Wednesday next. Besides the children's gifts a number of other things will be sold and it is rioped that the sale will realise a goodly sum for the object. Luncheon and afternoon tea will be procurable on tbe ground and the bazaar will open at 11 o'clock.
