Sir,-In view of certain discussion regarding my .closing of the above Ten Booms may I be permittee io explain my position and views through the medium of your paper. When the present jPatrioiifj Tea Booms were opened I closed toy. Tea Booms as a project againet which I felt to be an injustioe, also aa to why the people conoorned choose that means of raising funds, aa I think th- energy expended could have bepn put to a more useful and profitable way end not have interfered with private enterprise.
