A meeting of the Domain Board was then held. Present—the same gentlemen, tba Mayor in the chair.
The Lands and Survey Department forwarded a report"on the domains of New Zealand. The report 'stated that the* domains were being improved very satisfactorily The Department also announced that grants could not be made this year.
The report was received,
The caretaker's schedule of duties was considered, with an entry of tools in the Council's possession, and Crs Vangioni end Leete were appointed to sign same.
Miss M. Haylook, Hoa Sec Domain Tennis Club, wrete asking the Connoil to repair the Domain tetania courts as soon as possible for the convenience of the club members and of the visitors.
Cr Munro pointed out there was an application from the other olub, The foreman bad said there was no tar to do the work.
, Cr Leete said that he thought; they should see that the courts were kept in order as they were an attraction to visitors in Akaroa. He moved the request be complied with.
Seconded by Cr Fyfe and carried. The meeting then terminated.
