AKAROA BOWLING CLUB
There was a good attendance of members and friends yesterday at the opening of tbe Bowling Club's season Tbe, president (Mr J. D. Bruce), declared the green ©pen, and said tbat the club remained in a very satisfac tory position as far as members were concerned. He mentioned the excellent work done by Rev. J. W. Hay ward in preparing the green for play. He said that several other clubs wanted matches, and he wished tbe Akaroa club another euceesffut sea son. / Iα the absence of M's Bruce, Mrs V.
