The previous minuteß were read and confirmed. The( chairman moved that a vote of sincere sympathy be accorded to Mr and Mrs W. E. Leonardo in the aad loss recently sustained, and that a similar vote be passed to Mr and Mrs P Anderson in the loss of their eon who hnd Miven hie life for the Empire. Seconded by Mr A. A. Maophail and carried in silence, all members standing.
The Board also pa96ed a resolution o£ sym pathy with Ihe relative* of other Pen insula boys wh" had sacrificed their live< in upholding the Empire's cause. Corresponduao'T road from the Disoharged Boldi')rj' Information Department.
