Yesterday afternoon, Mr Peter Wilkins, on behalf of Messrs W. D. Wilkins and Son?, Ltd., sold by auction in the estate of the late Mrs Penlington :
1. A 60 acre farm in Grehan Valley. The land is occupied by Mr T. Penlington. Bidding was started at £85 an acre, and was sold finally to Mr T. Penlington at £40 an acre. 2. T.S. 134, Akaroa, a 20 perches section, with timber yard, in Lavaud street. This is occupied by Mr G. W. Dale. Bidding was started at £200, and it was passed in at £260. After the sale it was sold privately to Mr Dale.
8. T.S 135, with bouse, occupied by Mrs Riches. This was passed in at £880.
