KEALS , SENTENCE COMMUTED
Auckland, June 28. The death sentence upon Norman Seals for the murder of his sister-in-law and child at Onewbera in February last was commuted to imprisonment for life upon the opinions of three experts being taken The doctorn were Doctors Hay, Staesell and F. Truby King, who all agreed that the prisoner was of unsound mind. He will be confined to a mental bos pital, but it may 'not be considered desirable that he should be at once transferred from Auckland prison.
