HEAVY FINES IMPOSED,
DuNBBiN, June 10
Charges of opium smuggling came before the Police Court this morning, when Sing Tong, the chief steward of the steamer Cape Finisterre, was fined £50 and costs, and Bone Saar and Charlie Melander, members of the crew, £25 and coats.
