mere Licensing Committee was held
at tbe Courthouse, Little River, on Bth June. Present—T A. B. Bailey, Esq , B.M. (chairman), Mexsrs Pattereon Hubbard, Wright, and Latter. An apology was received from Me W. F. Parkinson for non attendance. Transfers were granted for tbe fol

Tbe polioe reports asking for repairs and additional fire escapes had been complied witb. A report was received from tbe Chief Health Officer enclosing reports from his inspectors upon all hotels in tbe district, Inspector Nicol attending to support the reports.
The committee, after carefully considering these reports, ordered that all hotels, excepting Hill Top Hotel, not furnished with hot and cold water in tbe bars, with attendant sinks and drains, be notified to have same installed by next annual meeting.
A number of small repairs and im provements were ordered for various hotels and the meeting adjourued.
