SAN FLOODED WITH BLOOD. Fetrograd, May 2G A correspondent of the London "Daily News" says "the battle on the San is developing into the fiercest of the war. Three million troops are at tacking and oounter attacking daily along thß entire front. The Kaiser is personally directing tbe operations. A flock of German aeroplanes is tak ing part. The Bussians shot four air men"
General yon Hindenburg states tbat tbe stupendous slaughter is due to tbe
solid phalanxes which the Kaiser or dered to cross tbe river north of Jara slay.
Tbe Germans hold onlyj 20 miles between Opatofl and Kaloma. They have been fastened to the right bank owing to tbe Russian successes above and below them. The Germans are moving in close order liko tbe troops |of ancient Rome. The Ban is flooded with German blocd.
