The annual central meeting of the various Committees of tbe Akaroa charge was held yeßterdayat Duvaucbelle at the County Coun oil Chambers. Rev. J. W. Hayward, presiding. The following were prosent: — Messrs G. Vogan, J. D. Bruee, H. McDonald and J. 8. Dndds, elders; T. Lewitt. A,W. Orme, W. D. Macphail, D. Fyfe, W. Corngall, A. R. Munro, E. Hay, A. McKay, and A. Brown, managers:

, The Moderator, Rev. Hayward. exprassed pleasure in seeing so many of the church managers present, and heartily thnnked all church workers for their faithful work during tbe past year. The Akaroa Committee reported that the electric light had been installed at the manse, and was much appreciated by the minister.

It was resolvad, ou the motion of the Rev. Hayward seconded by Mr Gorrigall, that this meeting sends its cordial greetings and good wishes to Captain B, A. Dearaly, one of the managers, who is serving at the front.

The balanoe sheets of the various committees were read and adopted. General satisfaction was expressed at tho healthy oondiu.on of the cburch finance.

Mr Bruce moved a vote of thanks to the various bay treasures and the auditors (Messrs Munro and lewitt) Seconded by Mr Orme and car-ied. The meeting closed with tbe Benediction.
