BAYS V. LITTLE RIVER

A football match will be played on the Recreation Ground, Akaroa, on Baturday next between teams repre seating tbe Bays and Little River divisions. The object of tbe match is to draw the players together, as, owjng to the war, the Peninsula Rugby sub Union have abandoned their competi tion. This match is one of a number tbat it is to be hoped will be arranged. Mr A Gray will act as referee. Dur ing the match a collection will be taken up in aid of tbe Belgians.

The following team will represent the Bays division, and anyone unable to play is asked to communicate with the s&cretary of the Union at once :— Back3—o. Hartley, A Craw, S. McKay, B. Waghorn, A.
