Oα Saturday last the Corrick Entertainers held a very successful concert, befora a large audience, at the Oddfellows' Hall, Akaroa. The Company consisting Qf Messrs L. Cor rick, ( aldwell and Bonny, and the Misses Amy, Elsie and Ruby Corriok, with Miss Gertrude Corrick at the piano, gave a varied musical and part song programme. The instrumental portion of the programme was listened to with the greatest satisfaction, the whole Company being talented artists in the playing of the eoroefc, violin, piccolo and saxophone The alu mininm organ chimes, played by several members of the Company, wee novel and most harmonious. Mr JamesCaldweU sang a number of songs in a most pleasing manner and in splendid voice, his efforts being well received by an appreciative audience. Miss Elsie Corrick'e rendering of Tosti's '• Good bye" was excellent, and her other songs were most pleas ing. The humorous element was supplied by Mr Jack Bonny, who kept the audience amused dining the evening. The humorous part, /onge and musical side of the programme made up a very pleasant; evening's entertainment.
