BARRY'S BAY SCHOOL PICNIC.
The Barrys' Bay school picnic was i held in Mr R. Stewart's paddock on i Friday last under very favourable i circumstances. There "was a very good attendance of residents!- and children from the surrounding Bays, and a good day's sport for both children and " grown ups " gone through. After the sports Mr Brownlee kindly gave out the prizes of merit for school work. Afternoon tea was then partaken of wbich ended a very enjoyable day. In the evening a very successful dance was held, Tbe committee wishes to thank all those who donated prizes and helped in other ways to make the day a success.
