Sir,—l write these lines as & reminder to some of our leading citizens that we have not provided the men who are leaving this district for tbe front with field glasses As it may be remembered almost the last plea Lord Roberta made, was to have as many men as'possible provided with field glasses, and this still applies to men going to the 1 front Trusting this neglect will be remedied, and thoße men leaving in the next lot, as well as those of future drafts, will be pro' vided with a pair of glasses each,—l am, etc.
