WELLINGTON, January 18 The High Commissioner reports from London 8.15 p m. yesterday :—
I "Paris reports state that the Allies hr.?e continued their progress at Nieuport and Lombaortzyde, gaining a distance of»abcut 200 yards. The allied artillery obliged tbe Germans to evacuate their trenches in ihe Great Dune, destroying Kedem. To tbe north of same at Blagny, near Arras, there were lively engagements, the Germans taking a foundry and the Allies immediately re' taking it, As the result of an energetic countor attack, they are still in possession in the Vosges. Progress is reported west of
