DOMAIN (88) v. STAR, LITTLE RIVER (82).
On Saturday, the Star Tennis Club from Little River journeyed to Akaioa to try conclusions with the Domain Tennia Club. They arrived at 10.30 a.m., and start wa3 made before lunch with the ladies' singles. The visitors were entertained to luncheon at Ilfracombe House, During the afternoon afternoon tea was dispensed by the lady members of the club to the p!ayer9 in the march and a large number of spectators. At the end of the match Mr L. Breitmeyer thanked the members of the Domain Tennis Club for the way they had entertained them. It had been a moat pleasant day's outing, and the match had been very interesting. Tbß visitors were not very much upset at the result, a? their opponents bad only won by a same, Mr H E. Crawsbaw responded on behalf of the Domain Tennb Club. He thanked. Mr Breitmeyer for his kind remarka, and said the Domain Club bad enjoyed the match exceedingly, and hoped to meet th 9 Star on many other i-ccasions.
