OKAIN'S BAY ROAD BOARD.
The monthly meeting of the Okain's Bay Road Board was held on Saturday, November 21; present—Messrs J. R. Thacker (chairman); A. T. Mason, A. W. Coffin and H. McHalo. The minuteß of the previous meet ing having been confirmed, correspondence was read— From the Pigeon Bay Road Board, asking upon what terms tbe Board's pile driving machine could be obtained. It was decided that the use of the pile engine be granted, the Pigeon Bay Road Board to pay cost of transit and return tbe plant in good order. From the Horoebush. Brick Co. re some deduction made on its account. Tbis matter was left for the chair* man to settle when next in town,

It was arranged that the Ok.ain's members co'j.'d see to the Jetty road repairs forthwith. Tbe clerk was instructed to take steps to get the outstanding rates in Accounts wore passed for payment to the amount £55 12?, and the Board rose.
