Sir,—I noticed in your last issue, nn npo logy for having put in the words "big skite" instead of "bit Scotch," in Mr Letter's remarks about Mr Baxter.
I think the term "big strife" would admirably suit Sir Joseph Ward, who, in his speech at Little River, gave himself all the credit for all the good work done by the late Liberal Government. Vβ never gave any credit to the late Richard Seddon or John McKenzie Honour to whom honour ii due.—l am, etc. BIT SCOTCH.
