BRITISH WARSHIPS OFF OSTEND.
GERMAN PREPARATIONS. The Press Bureau states that the warships off Belgium watched the enemy during the night digging trenches by the light of flames. The gunneis took the exact range and shelled tbo enemy by daylight, inflicting 1600 casualties in one day and wrecking six batteries. The first 9bot on Sunday destroyed a Taube tcroplane, and the ships are reported to have brought down a Zeppelin on Monthly.
