French troops occupied several days in.unsuccessful attempts to dis lodge 800 Germans, who were hidden in a cave at Soissons. Eventually 1200 Algerian sharpshooters, carrying their bayonets between tbeir teetb, crawled from tbeir trenches at night and burled themselves on tbe ? Germans. Only eight Germans escaped alive, GERMAN BULLETS.
